Day 3

Day 3 - July 21, 2014 - Rest day in Wayne, Illinois

So today is going to be a quiet day for us. We are just hanging out with my Aunt Linda and cousins and their kids. Tonight we are going to have a big family barbeque and I will be preparing to set out tomorrow solo without Mama Kirk who is staying here for a few days before flying home to Cape May, Nj.

Woke up early this morning and went around the corner for a decaf. And sat and used the wifi to update the blog since I couldn't get on last night.

So, after today no more air mattresses for me and indoor accommodations for awhile. Tycoon and I will be setting off for the great wide North and camping for the next four days. "Perhaps I didn't really think this through when I planned it" is what is running though my head. Me being the stubborn Irishwoman that I am I thought "meh, 5 1/2 months pregnant, that is nothing, and anyway I'm going to be glamping". Well, my version of glamping anyway. A tent with two temperpedic toppers at private campgrounds with security and bathrooms and showers. I'm not really that worried, I think everything will be fine. And let me tell you, those temperpedics are taking up my whole boot, but it's worth it! But hey, if I seem a little cranky at the rise and shine locations along the way, attribute it to the genius 5 1/2 months preggo woman camping for 3 weeks!
